Text Box: Welcome to the Danvers Community YMCA’s information homepage. We offer individual and family programs for all. Please take a few minutes and view our page links below. If you would like further information please e-mail us by clicking on the “Email the Y here” section below. Our programs include: Instructional & Competitive Swimming as well as Lap Swimming, Basketball, Aerobics, Summer Camps, Fitness, Pre-School, Kindergarten Enrichment, School Age Child Care, Ballet, Cardiovascular and Weight Conditioning, Leaders, Afternoon Programs, Special Youth Activities, Pre-School Gym Classes, Racquetball Sports, Water Aerobics & Walking and much more. Our facilities include a beautiful competitive pool with diving board, weight room, a Cardio and Strength Training Center with Nautilus selectorized strength training machines and computerized cardio equipment. Treadmills, StairMasters, Concept II rowing machines, aerobicycles, Elliptical machines, airdynes are included in the partial list of equipment. Spinning classes are included with membership. Racquetball courts sport wallyball, racquetball and handball. An auditorium/gym hosts a large variety of aerobics programming, pre-school gym and adventure programs and indoor sports. Modern locker rooms are clean and spacious. One of our newest expansion projects included a full sized, wood floor, Basketball Gymnasium that opened during the summer of 2003. The indoor facilities along with an outdoor soccer field and ample free parking make the Danvers Y a great family center. Drop into the Y and tour the facility and check out the Y’s summer camps for kids, located in West Boxford on Stiles Pond and at the Y’s main facility. Both facilities are owned and operated by the Danvers Community YMCA.
